Michael
Throughout his 30-year career, Michael Byun has created environments that engage people in meaningful ways. A focus on clarity, balance and thoughtful solutions that address his client’s needs are the foundation of his work.
Michael is an advocate for his client’s goals, recognizing that the best solutions investigate the possibilities while staying focused on his clients objectives.
He leads project teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, develop thoughtful solutions and execute the design flawlessly. Michael has held design leadership positions at several leading design firms such as Gary Lee Partners, Perkins + Will and SOM.
Throughout his career, Michael’s work has been recognized with numerous awards from the American Institute of Architects, the International Interior Design Association, the American Society of Interior Designers and various publications. His wide range of experience from corporate headquarters, residences, showrooms and furniture design provide his clients with depth of knowledge and experience in developing sophisticated design solutions.
Michael is a Registered Interior Designer with the State of Illinois (RID), a NCIDQ Certificate holder, a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional and an active member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
